What is the CMS application? (How does the Business Electronic Message Management System (CMS) work?)

Available by the Ministry of Commerce Message management system (CMS) It is claimed to aim to prevent unauthorized commercial electronic messages from being sent to consumers and to reduce spam traffic.

WHAT IS A MESSAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CMS)?

Message management system (CMS)it is the national database system where all service providers record their up-to-date business electronic message confirmations.

Through the AIS, Buyers (citizens) can give their approval or use their right of refusal for their current approval.

Thanks to the Message Management System, citizens can now easily manage their message permissions from a single point, approve for the service provider and brand they want, and use the right of rejection if they do not want to receive messages.

With the IYS, the permissions that service providers must obtain before commercial electronic messages sent to recipients will be stored in a secure environment, and buyers will be able to make approval and rejection notifications.

HOW DOES THE MESSAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (CMS) WORK?

All service providers that send commercial electronic messages upload their commercial electronic message permissions to the IMS to transmit their commercial electronic messages, such as marketing, advertising and campaigns, to their customers.

Buyers, on the other hand, use their rights to deny these permissions whenever they want. All business email permissions are stored in the IMS.

Buyers can see that the service provider or their brand can send commercial e-mails and, where necessary, can edit the permissions they grant to service providers for each channel (call, message, and email) through the IMS.

All these transactions are carried out on a single platform through iys.org.tr.

When service providers want to send commercial messages through any channel, the permissions granted by citizens can be verified through the IYS through various methods, and only those who have given permission can be sent.

In cases where the right to reject is used, these messages are not sent to the recipients who have used the right to reject, thanks to the IYS filter.

With the IYS it will be possible to quickly resolve citizen complaints about approvals of commercial electronic messages.
