The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will support producers’ investments in modern pressurized individual irrigation systems developed for agricultural activities at 50 percent of the base purchase amount of the grant, not including VAT.
The Communiqué on the support of individual irrigation systems in the field of rural development aid prepared by the Ministry was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force.
With the Communiqué, the procedures and principles of support for individual irrigation systems were determined in order to expand the use of modern pressurized individual irrigation systems developed for agricultural activities by producers, to produce higher quality and in line with market demands and to increase the level of income. of rural producers.
In this context, investments will be supported for drip irrigation systems, micro-sprinklers, underground drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation, linear or center pivot irrigation, drum irrigation and solar-powered irrigation systems.
On the condition that they are registered in the current Farmer Registration System (ÇKS) established by the Ministry, applications can be submitted for specified investment issues.
AGRICULTURAL COMPANIES, COOPERATIVES AND UNIONS THAT COMPLY WITH THE CONDITIONS MAY ALSO APPLY
Companies established as partnerships, limited partnerships and joint stock companies defined in the Turkish Commercial Code may apply as a legal entity, provided that their statutes indicate that they can produce agricultural products.
Irrigation, agricultural development and agricultural credit cooperatives and irrigation unions may apply as a legal entity by leasing their own lands or public lands for 10 years or more, provided that their main contracts include agricultural production.
50 PERCENT OF THE PURCHASE AMOUNT WILL BE SUPPORTED IN INVESTMENT
For applications accepted within the scope of the Communiqué, 50 percent of the amount of the purchase of basic goods specified in the grant contract, excluding VAT, will be financed by a grant.
The amount of the purchase of goods based on the grant cannot exceed 1 million lire.
If the application is accepted, the applicants will be obliged to obtain the contribution in kind, the difference in the reference price and the VAT for the total amount of the purchase from their own resources, at the rate of 50 percent of the purchase amount of the goods based on the subsidy.
Applications are delivered to the provincial directorates of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry within 30 days from March 1 of this year, and within 60 days from January 1 for the other years of application, as a copy only for applicants until the end of working hours, and the application period.
