Commerce Minister Ruhsar Pekcan said on his social media account: “We have started payments to support loss of turnover for our businesses operating in the food and beverage service sector, which were negatively affected by the Corona virus epidemic, starting today.
Requests for loss of business assistance continue. Our companies, which are engaged in food and beverage service activities negatively affected by the epidemic, can submit their applications through e-government until 11:59 p.m. on March 31, 2021. Good luck, ”he said.
WHAT COMPANIES CAN BENEFIT?
According to the regulations on the subject, the turnover in the calendar year 2019 is 3 million lire or less and the turnover in 2020 is 50 percent or more compared to the turnover of the year in question. In the area of food and beverages, which are decreasing to a certain extent, support grants are paid to benefit only once in their main area of activity.
In this context, payments to support loss of income of 3 percent of the decreasing amount of their turnover, not less than 2 thousand lire and not more than 40 thousand lire, are paid to such companies.
Additionally, payments to deserving business loss support and loss of business support together are made by deducting loss of income support.
If the loss of business aid is greater than the loss of income aid, the excess is paid to the beneficiary.
