Anchovies are back in the Black Sea

In Samsun, flocks of anchovies have been tied to the nets of fishermen who have been selling anchovies in ice shops for a month. Anchovies began to be sold for 25 liras in the stalls that were restocked. Stating that the variety of fish has increased this week, fisherman Uğur Kırbaş said: “The anchovy surprised us.”

Stating that the variety of fish has increased this week, fisherman Uğur Kırbaş said: “Although we have reached the end of the season, our variety of fish is high, even anchovies are available today. Our prices are normal, anchovy, haddock and mullet are 25 liras, while sea bass, sea bream and salmon weigh 45-50 liras. We are open every day because we respond to the needs of our people, the demand is quite high. Although there are restrictions, we sell more intensively than during the week. Currently, we mainly sell anchovy, haddock and red mullet. “We were already selling anchovies in ice cream, today the local anchovies came out,” he said.
